Cinemax To Create Animated Gor Series Using Actual Second Life Locations!

Cinemax sets sail for adventure with a new original series set on the planet Gor.

Cinemax, creators of original series such as "Banshee" and "Hunted" and such original adult series as "Life on Top" and "Femme Fatales," has announced that it is starting production on a new animated adult series based on John Norman's Gor novels, set in the virtual world of Second Life Gor.

Insiders at Cinemax say the cable network has been eyeing the successes of HBO's series "Game of Thrones" and most especially Starzs' very successful "Spartacus" with a desire to create their own breakthrough series. This has led to the creation of several bland, low-budget action adventure series, such as "Banshee" and "Hunted."

"We realized that we had been going at it all wrong when we looked at Games of Thrones and Spartacus," said the insider. "Spartacus has its sexy slavegirls and Game of Thrones has its sexy whores, who are pretty much slaves. Clearly they've been getting in on the taste for sexy female submission just like Fifty Shades of Grey did in the book world. We've been going in the stupid direction there with our original adult series "Femme Fatales" which was basically hot dominatrixes having sex. It's earned us a devoted following, but a very SMALL, I mean, a really TINY devoted following relative to Game of Thrones, Spartacus, and especially Fifty Shades of Grey."

"So we looked around and discovered that John Norman's Gor was once a very hot property in the old maledom/femsub area, but it got optioned by idiots back in the 80s and nothing useful got done with it," said the source. "And we realized that Spartacus with tons of hottie slavegirls was just the thing, but you know, most of our series are done on very limited budget. We're talking cheap here. And while filming naked women in chains having sex is cheap enough, all the sword fighting and giant bird flying and such were going to cost, and cost big, by our standards. We're not HBO or Starz!"

The solution, said inside sources, was provided by the research that was done on the Gor novels. The Cinemax production team discovered that there was a huge fandom for the Gor novels in the virtual community called Second Life, and they had created over 300 different virtual sites, called sims, that were based on the Gor novels.

"When we saw this, we realized that most of the production work we would need had already been done, in an animated venue, and that's when we said, "Why not make it an adult animated series?" explained the insider, who might or might not be the executive producer for the series. "We already knew we could get the rights to the Captive of Gor title and concept from John Norman for peanuts, and we knew we could pay off the owners of these sims for peanuts and get all kinds of extras for the scenes besides, and all we'd really need is some voice actors and some post-production work to make up for stuff like the doll hands." (Second Life avatar hands are noted for being immobile.) "Piece of cake! I mean, one of the iconic cartoon characters of all time is a pig that wears a shirt and no pants and has no genitals! People are very forgiving about animation -- and OUR animations are VERY lifelike and DO have genitals, and they'll be using them. They'll be in bondage, and they'll be in sexual bondage. We can't miss with this one!"

"People will be VERY surprised at how good this will be," said the sou ... it's the executive producer, OK? The fucking executive producer! He won't let me use his NAME but who the HELL else would know all this stuff? "There'll be bowfighting, very big right now, swordfighting, and naked slavegirls submitting to mighty masters right and left. And don't you worry ... the slavegirls in this series will NOT be damsels in distress, waiting for some heroic man to free them. ALL the Goreans want to enslave them, there are no heroes! The slave girls will have to learn to deal with their slave girl problems on their own, whether that involves escaping to another land and becoming panther girls, becoming free women through some act of bravery or whatever, or dealing with their own submissive desires ... something you never see in damsel in distress plotlines. Captive of Gor will surprise you!"

Casting for the voice talent is already underway, scripts are being written, and the post-production team has been assembled. The series should be on the air in Spring 2014.

There's one in every building on Gor ...

Image source: tumblr site, no attribution. I did a Google image search and a tineye search and found a number of sites, some of which were of the sort that had me wondering if my virus protection was up to date. In fact I did a search for the name of one of the sites that the photo was tagged with and got a hit that suggested it spread Trojans. And most of the sites did not look like the sort that create original content, they looked like sites that grab others' content and rebrand it as their own, if they even bother to do that. So, I'm not recommending any of the sites I found to my readers. If anyone knows who originated this image let me know and I'll give them credit.

Bad Sentences Of Gor Interpreted

First published on 2/19/2013

It would be stupid, or absurd, as I suspected, if not dangerous, to pretend to a belligerent stance, to protest, or threaten, or to appeal to legalities, the purport of which might well be aligned precisely against one, then perhaps, I thought, one might appeal to the pity, the mercies, of one's captors Image source: Device Bondage.com.

I've been working my way through Witness of Gor, the Gor novel Norman wrote after his long hiatus from writing Gor novels when he lost his publisher, DAW Books. I'm only about halfway through Witness, which so far has been one long slavegirl fantasy-fest.

Even so, it's full of Norman's trademark comma-clause laden sentences. I've picked out some of the longer, more comma-enriched sentences because hey, they're so much fun you gotta share. I've also interpreted a few for the lengthy-sentence impaired. Those who regard Hemingway's spare prose will no doubt burst a blood vessel, however, there's all kinds of fun to be had with all kinds of different prose styles, and if you can't enjoy Norman's, even knowing their flaws full well, I'll just let that be your problem. Otherwise, enjoy!

The will by the rule of which, by the decision of which, I, and perhaps others, might be confined would doubtless be remote from the instrumentalities by means of which the dictates of that will would be enacted.
Interpretation: The Big Boss don't mess with the details.
My mood, or fit, of indignation, or resolve, of protest, of momentary righteousness, of transitory belligerence, such a futile bellicosity, soon passed.
Interpretation: My mood soon passed.
It would be stupid, or absurd, as I suspected, if not dangerous, to pretend to a belligerent stance, to protest, or threaten, or to appeal to legalities, the purport of which might well be aligned precisely against one, then perhaps, I thought, one might appeal to the pity, the mercies, of one's captors.
Interpretation: Rather than try to bully the men while naked and chained, I should probably act all helpless and stuff.
I did not think, really, given the fact that I was here, the presumed methodicality of my arrival in this place, the presumably routine manner of my incarceration, the nature of my cell, or kennel, suggesting that it was not unique, that my presence here would not be its first occupancy nor its last, the unlikelihood that there was anything special about me, the probability that I was only one of several such as myself, that my pleas would move my captors.
Interpretation: I was probably not the first woman in this cell.
I turned, of course, immediately and fell to my knees, putting my head down to the lavender grass, as was its color here, in this portion of the garden, the palms of my hands down, too, on the grass, beside my head.
Interpretation: Lavender grass? o0
I was ravening.
Interpretation: I found myself, unaccountably, perhaps not amazingly, interested in sustenance, or food, the mere thought of which sent my mind into paroxysms of desire for some sweet, delicate, delicious morsel, or chunk, of tasty comestibles, my tongue almost tasting itself, in my implacable desire for the least, or perhaps even the most, bit of that thing which I, hitherto unknowing, uninterested, was now forced by circumstances to consider, at last, of paramount importance: food.
Too, I do not think it had to do merely with an accent, though they surely had such, an accent which appeared distinctively, oddly, in words they uttered in various languages, languages some of which I could recognize, though I could not speak them, as the doors were opened, and which, on the other hand, seemed so natural, so apt, in their discourse among themselves.
Interpretations: Some of these guys had funny accents even in languages I didn't know.

The Appeal of A Collar

First published on 2/4/2013

That's one big honkin' collar on that slavegirl! Image source: Sex and Submission.com.

Not until I had been playing Gor for a while did I come to understand the appeal of collars. For securing slaves in positions in which they can be used with impunity, wrist cuffs, ankles cuffs and head harnesses are much more useful. But collars have a nice visual appeal. They identify the wearer as a slave, an animal, especially big honkin' metal collars like this one that can't POSSIBLY be mistaken for a necklace (as some slave collars are clearly designed to be -- once again, plausible deniability!).

In combination with chains and a gag as seen above, it's just incredibly fricking hot. Helpless and gagged.

I guess my general aversion to collars is a matter of safety ... necks are very fragile things, securing people by them is dangerous, if you don't know what you're doing, and really, even if you do. But they do have a certain slavey quality that lends them (and their wearers) great visual appeal. I imagine that the fashion of wearing necklaces got started as Roman matrons grew tired of watching their husbands ogling the sexy slavegirls slinking past in their sexy, sexy collars. Next thing you know, necklaces are all the rage, but here's the thing ... the REASON collars are sexy is that the wearer is a slavegirl, and may be used as one wishes. And I'm betting that the first free women that adopted that hot, sexy, scandalous necklace fashion, was signalling to her husband that he could treat her like a slavegirl in bed. Nice! Of course, I'm just theorizing here ... but such FUN theorizing!

That's what you get for wearing one of those newfangled necklace collars! Image source: Sex and Submission.com.

World of Warcraft/Second Life Gor Mashup

Just a little World of Warcraft and Second Life Gor mashup I thought would be fun to create. Naked slavegirls are sadly lacking in the game, but hey, I hear the night elves will dance almost sexily.

Skyrim Gets Kinky With Slave Binds And Gags

First published on 7/15/2012

Found an excellent post called Danger Theatre: Skyrim Gets Kinky over at the Danger Theater website about the kinky mods now being created for Skyrim, including craftable binds and a gags. There's also going to be a Skyrim Slaver mod, apparently, where you can enslave female NPCs or be enslaved if your character is female. In an earlier post on this blog, I noted some of the naked mods to Skyrim and other video games that have been created, and strangely enough, that has been one of my most popular posts, perhaps because of the the Photoshop artwork I created to illustrate it. But Sasha has gone one better and found actual kinky mods in the game. Great work, Sasha!

Skyrim has not yet reached Second Life Gor levels of sexy kinky fun, but hell, you know it's just a few mods away ... Image source: original art.

Second Life Gor Evolved By The Book

First published on 5/15/2012

"Well, I WAS going to roleplay baking some poison-laced cookies for a black caste assassin today, but he IS much better at pointing and clicking his mouse than I am!" Image source: Fucking Dungeon.com.

The original split in Second Life Gor happened about seven years ago, maybe six years. Second Life Gor was in its early stages first characterized by the growth of sims featuring Gorean roleplay, mostly involving cities. Almost as soon as that happened, outlaws, pirates and panther groups arose. Their natural opponents, other than each other, were the cities of Second Life Gor. Because the outlaws, panthers and pirates were more prone to fight, by the nature of their groups, than the cities, which had all kinds of peaceful roles (scribes, merchants, bakers, candlemakers, administrators, etc.) the outlaw groups tended to win fights most of the time. Eventually, they began to win almost all the time.

The problem was exacebated by the tendency of male players to enjoy combat more and for female players to enjoy roleplay more, and the tendency of the pirates, panthers and outlaws to ally to attack the cities. And there were also Xenas, players who disliked Gor and who played Gor, became outlaws, pirates or panthers and expressed their feelings by thoroughly kicking the asses of the big, bad Gorean Masters in the cities, in game. The end result, to hear some tell it, was that cities got rolled over on an almost hourly basis by wave after endless wave of hordes of fighting outlaws, panthers and pirates, making roleplay impossible (ninjas were apparently the only holdout here, though I did hear a rumor that such a raid did occur once).

Eventually, the cities enacted rules on their sims that female outlaws with bows (the most effective weapon in SL Gor you will recall) could not visit their cities, as such women were not seen in the Gor novels. Also, panther bands could not attack cities in large numbers because in the books panther bands and outlaw bands were small, weak groups that could never have matched the warriors who guarded a city in numbers or military prowess. Since in SL Gor it was the outlaws and friends that had the numbers and the fighting prowess, so the Gorean city sims just used their banning powers to kick out anyone who did not play on their terms.

Since the Gorean city roleplayers claimed that they were expelling the outlaws on the grounds that they were not "by the book" (I have a lot of reservations with this claim) such city sims because known as "by the book" Gor. The bow-toting female outlaws and pirates and panther girls called themselves Gor Evolved, I guess in the sense that they felt they had evolved into something beyond by the book Gor. (I personally think that it's quite reasonable to assume the existence of female warriors and large bands of outlaws and pirates that might take over a city given the way Gor's culture and level of civilization is described in the Gor novels, so I see no need to add the term "Evolved" for accuracy, though it works just fine as a descriptive term so I use it because it's what everyone uses.)

And you might figure that since I play in Gor Evolved (GE Gor) I might be completely on the side of Gor Evolved, but I'm not. Mainly because I see the roleplayers' point: if you are intent on building up any kind of story type roleplay, being captured and forced to do hostage/prisoner/captive/slave roleplay all the time is a huge pain in the ass (possibly literally, if rape/torture roleplay is involved, as it sometimes is). Bakers and scribes and such probably did not constantly get captured even in as warlike a place as Gor is. And cities probably were able to fend off outlaws gangs most of the time, else they would not be cities for long. If you are trying to build up a complex character with a complex storyline, you can see how it would be annoying to have your roleplay constantly interrupted by someone who feels he had a right to take over your storyline because he (or she) has practiced playing Second Life Gor as an arcade game more than you have.

Some Gor Evolved advocates claim that the real reason that cities outlaws femlaws (female outlaws armed with bows) is that the by the book Gorean warriors were just butthurt over getting their asses kicked repeatedly in battle, which, let's face it, is kind of supported by that particular prohibition about female outlaws using the most powerful weapon in Second Life Gor roleplay. Others call by the book Gor "tea party Gor," which implies that by the book Gor is basically a dress-up tea party using the best dolls ever. There may be elements of truth to both implications, especially "tea party Gor" since cities tend to attract female players to a much greater degree than male players so much so that some female players have played male warriors, not because they found it appealing, but so that the other female players would have male warriors to interact with. Guys just don't want to play in that tea party.

I'm not an advocate of either of these views, Gor Evolved works for me because raiding is the MOST FUN EVAH! And I find that the downtime between raids is great for the other parts of Gorean roleplay, which in my case is doing funny stuff. Sometimes, funny, raunchy stuff, but mostly I enjoy parodying the hell out of the heroic Gorean warrior. My character is greedy, self-serving, loves to claim credit for what others achieve and vain, though he does fight bravely enough, not out of valor, but just because he thinks fighting is fun. Often all it requires is bragging artfully after a raid ... or during one. Easy enough to do between raids, and fun, fun, fun!

I wish the split between by the book cities and Gor Evolved outlaws were not so binary, and it's not really, because here's the dirty little secret of Second Life Gor: practically everyone has alts, that is, they have more than one avatar (Second Life allows players with free accounts to have up to eight avatars with different avatar names). So it's very possible to have a male warrior alt, a panther girl alt and a paga slut alt, if you want to do that. You can play in by the book Gor, Gor Evolved AND anything else you want to, if you have the time.

Wait a minute. Male warrior alt AND panther girl? Sure, I SAID some female players do that. I've even heard they are supposed to be tremendously good at playing male warriors, so much so that slavegirls players fall in love with the character. Which leads us to our next topic: OOC and IC.

How to Commit Sexual Roleplay In Second Life Gor

Slave Girl Rigged For Transport

First published on 3/20/2012

"We told her there was a pony at the end of her journey. We did not tell her she would be the pony." Image source: Artwork by Greta Heron on Deviantart.

Found another excellent artists mining the treasure trove of imagery provided by the Gor novels, and more particularly Gorean roleplay on Second Life, which is arguably the most important venue for Gorean anything nowadays, with tens of thousands of active players and God knows how many former players.

It may not sound like much compared to something like World of Warcraft, but you have to realize that the marketing budget for Second Life Gor roleplay is this: $0.00. In fact, Second Life never promotes this popular roleplay venue on their grid, because of you know, all that crazy sex slavery and maledom/femsub stuff that goes into it. (Never mind that Gor Evolved, the most popular brand of SL Gor roleplay, is mostly about the combat.)

Point is, SL Gor has more of a negative marketing budget going for it and yet continues to thrive, mainly because it's fun for grown-ups.

And Greta Heron is one of a number of artists on Deviantart who use the Gorean roleplay and stories as sources of powerful, vivid, sexy imagery. This art is very much by the book: it's mentioned that slaves were often hooded, collared and chained together when they travelled. In fact, it's not QUITE by the book as the books also claimed that the slaves were gagged as well (with gags built into the hoods). Very nice bit of imagery with the two fellows leering at the unseeing slave as she passes. She has a bit of a smile on her face, perhaps they made a few comments about her as she passed.

As you can see, this art has the Deviantart logo on it, but if you go to her gallery and buy one of her prints, etc., you can get the art without the logo. Even if you don't lots of other naked women in bondage to see in her gallery. So ... check it out!

Get Outta Winter: New Second Life Machinima By Pat Powers

First published on 2/16/2012

See Vallerie's butt. See Vallerie's butt jiggle. Jiggle, butt, jiggle!

I've created a new Second Life machinima, "Get Outta Winter and Into Second Life."

"Get Outta Winter" is basically hot, almost naked blonde Uncanny Vallerie traveling through various Second Life sims in various ways -- via jetskis, ATVS, dancing cows, swimming, flying and one very silly run. Other than Vallerie's butt, the sims are the real stars of the movie, I wanted to give viewers an idea of how much just plain old fun there is to be had in Second Life, apart from all the sexy sex that people seem to think of when SL is mentioned.

The machinima is designed to be fast and fun, driven by Bob Seger's "Get Outta Denver," basically a visual interpretation of the term "WHEEEEEE!!" It's also a showcase of how inexpensive Second Life is (playing Second Life itself costs nothing) -- all of the vehicles Vallerie rides except the tricycle are freebies, either available at freebie sites or left out just to use on various sims. The most expensive thing you'll see in this machinima is Virtual Vallerie's hair, which cost 300 Lindens (in-game money) which amounts to about a $1.33US. This is actually logical -- hair is complex and difficult to build, requires a certain amount of scripting knowledge and has a great deal to do with how good an avvie looks. The avvie itself was free, as is the "skin" that covers the avvie.

Here are the Second Life URLs (slurls) for the various sims in the machinima and some relevant info about them:

Snowy run scene
Primus Weapons
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Primus%20Weapons/182/74/20 This is a Gorean sim, set in the Northern Forests and full of panther girls and outlaws. Running around as a slave is hazardous in such sims if you do not want to RP being a slave, if you don't know what you're doing, or the secret of slaves in SL Gor (which is that a lot of Goreans would just as soon not cap a slave). There are a couple of other sims (Midgaard and others) linked to it at present.

Wyrldmaker (Suboceana)
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Wyrldmaker/119/83/21
This is a group of 30 sims linked together with a common theme of underwater exploration and also some nifty above-water stuff as well. Has another of freebie vehicles parked at the docks that you can ride ... jetskis, helicopters, sailboats, etc. Definitely worth a visit.

Tricycle Scene, ATV Scene
Kings Bishop
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kings%20Bishop/38/227/24 Kings Bishop is a public sandbox where anyone can rez their possessions and objects and build their own objects, and learn to build. It's in the middle of a mainland continent and there are all sort of different places nearby, much like a real life city, except with a LOT more variation, as there are not zoning codes and there's no problem with leaving stuff in midair. Also, just to the right of the landing zone is a building filled with freebies, most designed to be useful to builders but also some very useful freebies in general.

Fish and submarine swims
Vernian Sea
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Vernian%20Sea/96/199/73 The Vernian Sea is the underwater portion of the Babbage steampunk sims. Some very cool, visually arresting imagery above ground and below ground. A great place if you like steampunk of the dark and grim sort. Rising from water scene

Flying out of water scene
Caledon Speirling
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Caledon%20Speirling/89/40/18 Part of the Caledon steampunk sims, once again, some very arresting imagery, I used this bit just because it was a nice way to transition from the underwater scenes to the flying scenes.

Diving board scene
Marvil
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Marvil/162/87/28
A sim near Kings Bishop that had a nice diving board to use as a prop to set up the underwater scenes.

dancing cow scene
Omanix, somewhere on Route 13
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Omanix/222/52/50
Another sim near Kings' Bishop that had a roadway that the Dancing Cow could use. There were a lot of other cool vehicles on the sim, but most moved far too slow for the pace of my machinima. Damn, wish I could have used the bus to Nowhere!

Flying scene, water slide scene, tubing scene
Suboceana
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Wyrldmaker/119/83/21
More above-water fun in Suboceana.

Run through steampunk land
Caledon Sky City
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Caledon%20Steam%20SkyCity/110/54/76
Ok, this one was a bit of a cheat. Caledon is actually a group of steampunk sims. Sky City is a very detail-rich, built-up steampunk sim, and not all of it rezzed immediately, most notably, the floor Vallerie should have been running on. But I went ahead and ran her in midair, because I wanted to give a sense of how complex and multilayered these sims can be. So as Vallerie is running, that's the ground way beneath her ... she's actually a story above it ... and there are floating blimps and so forth floating in the sky above her as well.

Volcano Run, Silly run
Corsica 3D
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/CORSICA3D/123/89/23
These locations just happened to be near a Star Trek museum I was looking for, and I thought it would be fun to have Vallerie jump into the caldera of a live volcano and run through a section with some generally weird creatures with her Silly Run.

Ice Skating
Babbage Canals
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Babbage%20Canals/29/83/105
Back to the Babbage sims for some ice skating to close out the running about.

Leap to Doom
Caledon Lionsgate
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Caledon%20Speirling/89/40/18
This is a spectacular steampunk sim, though all I was able to use was a nice leap. You can fall any distance at all in Second Life with no problem, though some of the animations your characters use to get back on their feet can be funny.

Blowing A Kiss
King's Bishop
Taken in one of their builder's sandboxes, where I used the free FORTRESS I got, I think at the Gorean Recruiting Center. (To be fair, it's a SMALL fortress, just one story high, and c'mon, stained glass windows? In a fortress?)

Meeting an octopus somewhere in Suboceana. One of many great scenes I left out of the video.

I had to leave out an AMAZING amount of good stuff to make this video work. I wanted to include some shots of Vallerie flying around in spaceships from Star Wars and Star Trek, but I had major lag when I tried that. There were some amazing sims I wanted to use, but they were full of active roleplayers, and I make it a rule not to interfere with others when making my machinima. I've also made it a rule not to involve others in my productions, as the process of making a machinima is and can be a time-draining pain in the ass, with many retakes.

Along those lines, in some of the sims Vallerie visited, notably the steampunk sims, she was severely out of costume. Some sim mods and owners don't mind that, others will ban you from their sims for being out of costume (Vallerie has in fact been banned, um, once or twice, mostly for excess nakedness). So keep that in mind. Generally most sims that have roleplay also have freebie costumes for visitors. (I know that Babbage does, and it's true of many Gorean sims.) Some sims, like the ones around King's Bishop, have no clothing requirements other than the ones associated with their rating (can't go naked in a sim rated General or Moderate, though in Moderate anything goes so long as the naughty bits are covered. Adult, sky's the limit.)

Naked Slavegirls Slink Into Skyrim, Oblivion, DragonAge Origins

First published on 1/16/2012

"My erotic stats are to the max!"

Game designers have been quick to pump up the violence in their games, but sort of slow to pump up the sex. Easy to figure out why: the censors get pumped when the sex gets pumped. Can't have young men thinking about teh sexy!

Unfortunately for the Forces of Darkness, aka censors, games are becoming more modifiable, i.e., players can alter the game and its characters to more closely suit their interests. Good for the game, good for the gamers, bad for the censors. Because of course that mean slavegirls are slinking into video games other than Second Life, which isn't really a game anyway.

You can see evidence of it on Youtube, where a gamer named kajiragames has uploaded a number of his or her adventures playing characters who are modded to be naked slave girls. He or she's got a slavegirl character playing Oblivion, as well a a naked female viking playing DragonAge: Origins, and a naked female character playing Skyrim. I doubt there's much encouragement or guidance in ANY of these games as to how to construct naked female characters to play these games, just generic information on how to mod the game, but as we all know, real people tend to be a lot more creative and interesting than any corporation would ever allow.

You can check out an Oblivion run through here, there'll also be links to other kajiragames run throughs. The easiest way to see all the various game runs is to subscribe to kajiragames' channel. Maybe he or she will post some information about how the modding is done.

Now, granted, all of the videos I've seen so far has had the chracter engaging in solitary quests and dealing with NPCs (non playe characters) but frankly, it's just a matter of time til this capabiity reaches MMOs and of course, as soon as that happens the MMOs will be flooded with naked slavegirls turning all these formerly wholesome games inot the same kind of sexual monkeyshines that makes Second Life such a riot to play.

Of course, you may be wondering, why isn't everyone playing Second Life then? The answer is obvious ... Second Life demands a certain amount of creativity on the part of its players to get the max out of it. Most other games provide pre-planned characters, roles and stories, but in the case of, say, Second Life Gor all the characters, roles, stories, clothes, locales and so forth are created by the players using the tools Second Life offers. Not everyone has that kind of creativity. But as soon as it gets easy to buy/copy/borrow/whatever slavegirl character mods for all these moddable gains, I anticipate hordes of slavegirls flooding the games in zombielike waves, crying "Buy me, Master! Buy me, Maaaasterrrrrrrr..."

"Buy me, Mistress! I'm much cheaper than the dog and it won't be NEARLY so distressing if your husband fucks me ... I mean, compared to the dog ... oh, forget it, I'm TERRIBLE at marketing!" Image source: Naked Valkyrie in kajiragamer's Skyrim run-through.

Star Wars Online Worried About Slave Leia Roleplay?

First Published on 12/29/2011

"Jabba WOULD sell me to a Gorean paga tavern! Image Source: Original art by me, Pat Powers.

So my flying monkey brought home a link about Slave Girl Leia, which didn't seem to productive at first glance ... a discussion on what appears to be an official forum of the Star Wars: The Old Republic online RP game. It starts off innocently enough, with an RPer asking where she can get a sexy slavegirl outfit for her character. There are a couple of reasonable sorts of responses, then long about the fifth post the mod rushes in and locks the thread on the grounds that"We ask that everyone hold off on submitting feedback until they have experienced gameplay on Public Test." Check it out here.

Seemed kind of abrupt to me, then the penny dropped. Star Wars is not exactly Gor, but let's face it, the Web is FULL of visual evidence that fantasies about Slave Leia are pretty much all about sex slavery. Or heroic rescues from sex slavery. Often, both! (See above, and below.)

So, Star Wars probably wants to attract that wonderful, mythical FAMILY audience that corporations love so much, and they are probably EXTREMELY leery of all the RP that Slave Leia is likely to spawn, so they're EXTREMELY skittish about it. I mean, it COULD be that the thread was shut down purely for the technical reasons that were cited, but it sure seemed awfully HASTY to me. I'm betting, corporate stuffed shirts gave out orders to put the nix on the sexy slave girl stuff.

Good luck with that, corporate stuffed shirts.

HAD to include this image, it's the best Slave Leia fake I've seen by a long shot. Found it on the NVM discussion board. Attempts to chase down the actual origin proved futile except for several other discussion boards and pic posts, despite the fact that there was a cartouche on the original image that said, "faked by HM." Googling the image, the term "faked by HM," "fakes by HM," "photomanips" and "HM" all proved futile, as did Googling the cartouche that said "faked by HM." So, whoever you are, HM ... good work! There's a lot of other good Slave Leia art on the NVM board and elsewhere on the Web, have fun checking it out.

Slave Girl Marketing

"Well no wonder the slave girls aren't selling! You've got them sitting right under the fish racks! What the HELL were you thinking? Go bathe the lot of them and sit them over by the spice merchants! Idiot!"

Image is a publicity still from the recent "Conan the Barbarian" movie, which by all accounts was ruined by a similar error ... gave the movie to a known idiot director. What the HELL were they thinking?

This sort of mistake would never happen on Gor!
